INTRODUCING THE TRY BEFORE YOU BUY PROGRAM
The Mini Sportsman Racing Association offers a “Try Before You Buy” program to help potential buyers decide if a MSRA is right for them. There are two programs available – both of which will be held at South Alabama Speedway. The first is a simple “Hot Laps” session, while the second is an actual race rental program.
Here are the
details:
Hot Laps - For just $99 you get two on-track sessions of ten laps each. Mini Sportsman Association provides the car, you bring your drivers suit, helmet, gloves, etc. These sessions will be scheduled for Local Practice Sessions at SAS in evenings. In addition to the $99 fee, there is a $1,000 crash clause to encourage responsible driving.
Race Rental - For just $250.00 you will be able to rent a Mini
Sportsman for competition in a regularly scheduled race at SAS. MSRA provides the car, setup, etc. and you
bring your own safety equipment. In addition to the $250 fee, there is a
$1,000 crash clause to encourage responsible driving.
Both of these programs are
available on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability
of cars, weather, etc. For more
