In 1999 the Mini Sportsman Racing Association
was founded because of a great need all across the Tri-State area. This need
was very simple: an affordable race car with a unique design that requires little
maintenance time and cost. This was brought about because many short tracks
have allowed the cost of their competing race cars to escalate out of control. The
concept of creating a fun and affordable class of racing for anyone to
participate in was born. The Mini Sportsman Racing Association designed these
5/8-scale fiberglass versions of NASCAR cars to provide a fun and affordable
racing opportunity in which anyone (experienced or inexperienced) can compete.
