endorses the belt manufacturer’s recommendation that the belts be changed two
(2) years after the date stamped on the SFI tag regardless of the number of
times the car has been raced. The safety belts are similar to a helmet, in that
they are designed for protection in only one major impact. If you have had a

Technical
Inspectors reserves the right to:
Determine
the timing, method, cars are to be inspected and quantity of cars to be
inspected.
To
inspect any car at anytime the car is on any given track property.
Impound
for any length of time, any car or part for inspection.
Impound
any car involved in any accidents or injuries.
Limit
the number of people in any area where inspections are taking place.
Limit
the number of people involved in a protest.
Tech
inspector reserves the right to confiscate any parts deemed illegal.
The
fact that an infraction has not been noted or discovered doesn't make it legal.
All decisions made by Tech Officials are Final.
The
purpose of the protest is to provide a "safety value" to help keep
the series competitive and to keep the cost of racing affordable. Only current
owners of the Minisportsman Race cars may protest a component. Any specific
components of a competitor's car may be protested by any driver in that feature
after the race of the amount designated in terms of cash or certified check.
Time of the
Protest:
The
protest, protest card and full payment (in cash or certified check - no
personal checks) must be presented to the Minisportsman Racing Series tech
inspector no later than the start of tech after the feature race ( once tech
has begun it will be to late ). Once a protest is made, it may not be

permitted to be present at the protest site: Minisportsman tech officials and a
speedway Management representative. If a decision at the track cannot be made,
then the component will be sent to an authorized agent of MSA for a final
decision on legality. On a protest, it is the driver's duty to prove his
legality, not the tech official or protestor's duty to prove the violation.
When the
protest finds an illegal Component:
After
inspection, if the protested component is found illegal, the driver of the car
will be disqualified from that event, forfeits all prizes and points earned at
the event and may face possibility of more penalties at the discretion of

to pay for inspection fees and shipping charges in the form of a fine.
Refusal of
a Protest:
If
the driver or owner of the protested car does not allow inspection under these
terms, he will be disqualified, forfeit all points, purse monies, prizes and
awards earned at that event and possible suffer more penalties as determined by
Minisportsman Racing Series Officials. The car will also be suspended from
competition.
Engine Buy

car winning in four races that it is entered may have his or her engine bought.
The price of the engine will be at current retail value determined by MSA. If
for any reason the body has been changed to another chassis, the win will be
recorded to the original chassis body number and the engine buyout rule will
stand. Any Driver or owner refusing to surrender his or her engine will not be
able to race until it has been done.
Collection
of Dues: Dues will be collected out of your year end pay out. If for some
reason the driver/car does not return the next season the money retained would
be paid back.
Sponsorship

the season the sponsor fund money would be divided ONLY among the driver’s that
sold sponsors.
Teching

NOT LIMITED TO REV BOX, BRAKES, FUEL, WEIGHT. (When the association gets a set
of scales) You must have enough fuel in your fuel cell after the race for the
tester or you will be disqualified. YOU CAN NOT ADD FUEL POST RACE INSPECTION.
If car teched was disqualified for any reason other than illegal reasons car
would receive 20 points. If car found to illegal no points, no money, no trophy
would be received.
Problems
in practice: YOU HAVE TO TAKE A GREEN FLAG IN PRACTICE but if for some reason
you can not make the feature race, you will be given last place points for
showing up.
Cars
sold: If you sell your car and you have not made half of the races the
car/driver/owner will not be paid points money at the end of the year. Damaged
cars are not to be included in this. Example - If you buy a car and we still

If
you take the checkered flag and your motor blows up your points, money, and trophy
